Skiing the Dolomites

If you’ve been already, you know what skiing in the Dolomites is about, if not, go and try for yourself. The Dolomiti Superski area is a huge area consisting of several resorts and 1200 km of groomed slopes with lots of cable cars and lift systems where everyone can find the skiing they like. No nasty iced up slopes, but the proper snow…great!
There were 8 of us, travelling by two cars with roof boxes to accommodate all the gear. It took us 8 hours to get there from Trnava, but the long journey was well worth it. I believe the photos speak for themselves.

Itinerary:
Date: 7.2. - 13.2. 2019 (2 days by car, 4 days skiing)
The distance by car from Trnava (Slovakia): 760 km, 8,5 hours (the highway in Austria, Germany gratis, in Italy you pay tolls)
Accommodation: 40€ /ppn via Booking. We had an apartment with cooking facilities in the village of
Pozza di Fassa
Skipass: 210€/ 4 days for the
Dolomiti Superski, which covers all the ski resorts in the area. The lifts operate from 8.30am till 17:00-ish in February.
