A draft wedding announcement with the theme of love and a nurse

The client´s brief: Draw on your own talents, given you know both the bride and the groom.

My inspiration was the idea of endless love which I tried to connect with the bride´s profession as a nurse.

1. draft: A red cross with a short message reflecting the overall theme.

On the other side of the card is a photo ot the couple.

Attached is an invitation to the wedding table

2. draft: The couple´s initials M&T (Michal & Terka) are also the first letters of Milujem Ta (I love you in Slovak).

Again, the word "Milujem Ta". The red slash devides the verb for him and her. The red color symbolize love.

Tred cross on the invitation to the wedding table also symbolizes a red cross as a sign of medical services.

3 draft: „Áno“ means „Yes“ in Slovak. And the image evokes the start of a marriage when each partner says yes to becoming betrothed.

The sign & is also designed in the shape of heart.

4. draft: The figure eight symbolizes endless love and it is also designed in the shape of a heart. The card was originally designed to consist of two parts, where the bottom part is the invitation to the wedding table, although this part can stay blank.

Final design: The client decided not to cut out the wedding announcement and leave both parts on a white retro tablecloth card. The choice of using the image twice was done on purpose.

Wedding name tags were also created with the wedding card, and each one containing a joke printed on the other side.
